About the Role

As an IT Security Officer, you will take a strategic and hands-on role in driving cybersecurity excellence across enterprise-level infrastructure. You will serve as a key member of the organization’s Information Security Steering Committee and support both local and global security initiatives. Your role includes securing networks, enforcing policy compliance, managing incidents, and engaging with international teams to build a secure and resilient IT environment. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced security professional to lead, innovate, and protect on a global scale.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or IT Security with 5–8 years of experience, or Master’s degree with 4+ years of experience

  • 5–10 years of experience in Microsoft enterprise infrastructure environments

  • Strong command of English (written and spoken)

  • Deep knowledge and hands-on experience with cybersecurity processes and infrastructure

  • Expertise in IT security components: firewalls, antivirus (AV), endpoint detection and response (EDR), web application firewalls (WAF), vulnerability scanners

  • Experience with cloud platforms: IBM Cloud, Microsoft Azure, AWS (IaaS/PaaS)

  • Strong interpersonal, leadership, planning, and troubleshooting skills

  • Familiarity with ISO 27001, vulnerability management, SOC operations

  • Self-driven and capable of working independently

  • Able to handle multiple assignments simultaneously

Responsibilities

- Oversee IT security across business-managed networks and internal projects
- Implement IT security policies and controls in compliance with global standards
- Operate and manage security infrastructure components
- Serve as a local point of contact for the Security Operations Center (SOC) and ISMS (ISO 27001)
- Detect, document, and respond to security incidents using ServiceNow and architecture diagrams
- Perform vulnerability mitigation and incident follow-ups
- Collaborate with the global security team and contribute to the strategic direction of IT security
- Escalate violations and ensure systems meet internal security standards
- Participate in the GTS Information Security Steering Committee
- Support the development of a global Security Operations Center
