About the Role
As a Senior Backend Developer, you will design and build the core backend systems that power our real-time odds engine, trading logic, and settlement workflows.
You will work on systems that require zero data loss, high accuracy, and millisecond-level performance, ensuring reliability across high-traffic environments.
You’ll collaborate closely with DevOps, architects, and fellow engineers to deliver scalable, resilient, and production-grade services.
Requirements
Strong proficiency in Go (Golang) or Python
Experience with real-time, high-concurrency, or transactional backend systems
Knowledge of odds engines, trading logic, or financial settlement workflows
Hands-on experience with idempotent systems, ACID transactions, and distributed architectures
Familiarity with Kafka / RabbitMQ or other message queues
Experience with Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud environments (GCP preferred)
Database expertise in Redis / PostgreSQL / DynamoDB
Solid understanding of performance tuning, observability, and fault tolerance
Experience in fintech, trading, or betting systems is a strong advantage
Responsibilities
- Design and develop odds engine and trading logic using Go or Python
- Build secure and idempotent settlement and ledger systems
- Implement real-time data streaming and processing for trading decisions
- Architect microservices optimized for low latency and high scalability
- Integrate backend services with wallet, risk, and player systems
- Ensure accuracy and consistency in financial transactions
- Deploy, monitor, and scale systems on GCP/Kubernetes
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers
- Continuously improve system performance, reliability, and observability
