As a Senior Software Engineer on the Aggregator (AGG) Team, you will lead the design, implementation, and delivery of a platform that sits at the heart of the business — covering provider API integrations, dashboard development, API aggregation, and internal tooling. Beyond the core platform, you will serve as a cross-functional technical advisor across BackOffice systems, backend architecture, frontend, DevOps, security, and AI/automation.

Requirements
Experience: 5+ years in software engineering or a similar role
Backend: Strong hands-on experience in Golang; experience with Encore framework or similar backend frameworks
Frontend: Practical experience with Vue.js or other modern JavaScript frameworks
APIs & Integration: Proven experience integrating third-party APIs; solid knowledge of REST, WebSockets, streaming, or event-driven architectures
Databases: Experience with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases
DevOps & Workflow: Familiar with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and structured code review workflows
Bonus Skills: Experience with microservices architecture; knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, or container platforms; experience with message queues or streaming tools (Kafka, RabbitMQ, Redis Streams); background in aggregator, fintech, gaming, or high-traffic platform environments
Soft Skills: Strong sense of ownership and accountability; excellent communication and documentation habits; self-driven and proactive with the ability to work independently in a remote setting
Responsibilities
◉ Aggregator Platform Delivery
- Design, build, and maintain the core Aggregator Platform
- Implement provider API aggregation and normalization
- Integrate multiple third-party providers seamlessly
- Build and maintain internal dashboards and tooling
- Ensure high availability, performance, and scalability of the platform
◉ Development & Engineering
- Develop backend services using Golang (Encore framework)
- Build frontend interfaces using Vue.js
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
- Conduct thorough self-code review, testing, and validation prior to submission
- Prepare test results and attach them to tickets and pull requests
◉ System Design & Architecture
- Contribute to system architecture and technical design decisions
- Drive improvements in reliability, security, and overall platform performance
- Advise on infrastructure, DevOps, and deployment best practices
◉ Cross-Functional Technical Advisory
- Provide technical guidance across BackOffice, Core Backend, Frontend, DevOps, Security, and AI/Automation (n8n, models, pipelines)
- Support Sales & Marketing with technical enablement
- Assist in researching and evaluating new provider integrations and emerging market opportunities
◉ Process & Documentation
- Maintain up-to-date progress and documentation in company CRM and documentation tools
- Ensure all code is stored in company GitHub repositories and all documents are kept in company-approved systems
Salary and Benefits
- Competitive contract rate of RM 10,000 – RM 14,000 per month
