Today, many job seekers in Malaysia still aspire to work for large corporations or foreign multinationals.
However, we sincerely hope that young Malaysian engineers will start recognizing the immense potential of their own country’s startups.
Even if these startups are still small today, some of them may become unicorn companies within 5 or 10 years—leading the tech world from right here in Malaysia.
As a Japanese national—someone from the outside looking in—I may be more sensitive to the untapped potential and remarkable qualities of Malaysia.
This country holds tremendous promise, and I truly believe in its future.
