Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Technology, or related fields
Minimum 2 years of experience in software testing or development (especially for web-based applications)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
Excellent communication and time management abilities
A collaborative team player with a self-driven attitude
Must-have technical skills:
API Testing (Postman, RestAssured, Insomnia)
Test plan creation & execution
Cross-platform testing (web & mobile across different OS/devices/browsers)
Performance testing (JMeter, LoadRunner)
Bug tracking (JIRA, Bugzilla)
Test scripting (Python, JavaScript, Ruby)
Understanding of CI/CD pipelines
Clear documentation and collaboration with developers
Bonus skills:
Automated testing (Selenium, Appium, Espresso)
Azure DevOps for test planning and execution
Security testing (OWASP ZAP, Burp Suite)
Mobile-specific tools (XCUITest, Robot Framework)
Accessibility & database testing (SQL)
Cloud integration (AWS, GCP, Azure)
Chaos testing (Chaos Monkey, Gremlin)
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough testing across various software components including apps, APIs, and microservices
- Ensure high performance and responsiveness of applications across platforms
- Develop detailed test strategies and plans based on business and technical requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, analysts, designers) to improve software quality
- Document bugs clearly and maintain traceability throughout the testing lifecycle
- Contribute to improving testing methodologies, automation efforts, and best practices
- Execute regression, functional, and performance testing regularly
- Support product reliability through continuous validation, scalability checks, and recovery strategies
