About the Role
As a Software Development Team Leader, you will lead the development of our AI-powered
smart workspace platform, Xwerk.
You will oversee frontend, backend, AI modules, data processing pipelines, and cloud infrastructure—
bringing together real-time sensor data, video streams, and automation logic to deliver
intelligent workplace experiences.
This role involves technical leadership, hands-on development, architectural decision-making,
and managing a growing engineering team.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science / Software Engineering (Master’s is an advantage)
5+ years of experience in full-stack software development (web systems, SaaS preferred)
Proven experience leading engineering teams or managing development projects
Strong technical skills:
Frontend: React.js / Vue.js / Angular, JavaScript / TypeScript
Backend: Node.js / Python (FastAPI/Flask) / Java (Spring Boot)
Streaming & Integration: Kafka / MQTT / WebSocket
Databases: SQL, NoSQL, Time-Series DB
Cloud: AWS / GCP / Azure
DevOps: Docker, Jenkins, GitLab CI, CI/CD pipelines
Solid understanding of system design, integration, architecture & deployment
Strong analytical thinking, communication & stakeholder management
Nice-to-have
Experience with AI/ML modules (facial recognition, behaviour analytics, predictive models)
Knowledge of IoT / Smart Building systems (BACnet, Modbus, sensors)
Experience with B2B SaaS or enterprise solutions
Understanding of workplace analytics or smart environment systems
Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end development of the Xwerk Smart Workspace Platform
- Design architecture, develop features, review code & ensure quality standards
- Oversee development across frontend, backend, and AI components
- Build APIs, data pipelines & real-time processing services for IoT sensors
- Collaborate with AI/ML, UI/UX, QA, and product teams
- Implement DevOps best practices and drive continuous improvement
- Mentor and guide engineers; support their growth and technical excellence
- Manage project timelines, sprint planning & release cycles
- Conduct technical research and integrate innovative solutions
- Promote strong engineering culture and agile development practices
